The Town
Renowned for its excellent hotels, Nervi is a
'Riviera' on the edge of the city! The splendid
green surroundings of the town's parks and gardens
lead gently down to the sea emphasising the beauty
of the Golfo. The heritage of this traditional
village is reflected in the port with its many
colourful houses and fishing boats. Sheltered
by the hills, Nervi's mild climate attracts people
from all over the world even during the winter
months. Elegant shops blend together with fine
entertainment, which concludes with an International
Dance Festival, held in the park of the Grimaldi
villa. The Promenade
“ANITA GARIBALDI”
From the port you can locate the famous promenade
of Nervi that winds along the rocky coast for
about 2 km. Its sheltered position makes it
ideal for a summer stroll in the sun whilst
in the winter months the crashing waves create
spectacular scene. From the promenade you are
able to embark on boat trips to Portofino and
the Cinque Terre.
The Parks
Located along the passegiata and opposite the
sea are the famous parks of Nervi. Open to the
public the parks offer the visitor a relaxing
stroll or a shady retreat with its many palm
trees, sea pines, roses and squirrels.
The Sea
Nervi has both private and public rocky beaches,
natural sea pools as well as fresh water swimming
pools.
The Mountains
There are many well-marked footpaths that lead
into the mountains. Going up across the 'antique
creuze' you can reach the towns of S.Rocco and
S.Ilario were you can enjoy stunning views of
the Ligurian Gulf. On clear days it is possible
to see both Corsica and Isle of Capraia. If
you are a passionate walker or cyclist you can
reach Monte Moro and other routes in Liguria.
Boat Trips
There are numerous boat trips from Nervi towards
Portofino, Camogli, S.Fruttuoso and Le 5 Terre
(The Five Earths.) For

VILLA
FRUGONE
Villa Grimaldi Fassio established in 1993 is
located within the historical parks of Nervi
and conserves some exceptional paintings and
sculptures from the 18th Century. The pieces
were collected by the Lazzaro brothers G.B.Frugone
and L.Frugone, donated to the council of Genova.
Modern Art Museum of Villa Saluzzo Serra
Villa Saluzzo Serra of Nervi was inaugurated
in 1928 and resides within the public park,
which progresses from the parks from Villa Groppallo
e Villa Grimaldi Fassio. The museum hosts more
than 4500 works of art ranging from paintings,
sculptures and drawings.
Luxoro Museum
This splendid villa is immersed in the green
on the last section of the parks of Nervi facing
the rocky coast. It was built in 1903 by the
Luxoro family it kept a Genovese style architecture
from the 16th Century. The Luxoro collected
furnishings, paintings as well as a series of
predominantly Genovese precious items. The transformation
into a public Museum took place in 1951
Scuba Diving
Nervi is also is an ideal place for sporting
activities including Scuba diving and canoeing.
